Ingredients

  • 2 pounds extra large shrimp, raw
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dry basil leaves
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Shell and devein shrimp. Mix salt, pepper, lemon juice, garlic and mayonnaise together. Stir in shrimp and marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
Mix bread crumbs, basil, parsley and dill. Coat each shrimp with crumbs and place in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Stir melted butter and olive oil into the remaining marinade. Pour over the shrimp.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
