Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/4 cups sifted all purpose flour
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture.

Shape in 1" balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press 5 peanut halves a top each or crisscross fork tines.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 min. Cool slightly; remove from pan.
