Beef - Steak with Roasted Garlic and Chili Rub

To give your steak an Italian, instead of a Southwestern flavor, substitute equal amounts of dried basil for the chili powder and dried thyme for the cumin.

Ingredients
- 1 1 1/2 pound boneless sirloin steak
- 4 large cloves of garlic peeled
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Wrap garlic in tinfoil and place on 4 inch rack and roast on high for 15 minutes.
2. Take softened garlic from the oven, and when cooled mash in small bowl.
3. Add all other spices.
4. Rub garlic and spices on both sides of the steak.
5. Place on the 4 inch rack and grill on power level high for 6-7 minutes per side for medium rare.
