Ingredients

  • Cheese Filling:
  • 1 lb. rippled lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbls. oil
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice or water
  • 1 Qt of my homemade spaghetti sauce (or 3- 10 oz. jars)
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano

Preparation

Step 1

Saute meat in oil, breaking into particles. Add next 4 ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes.
Cook noodles.
Prepare cheese filling.
Place small amount of sauce in bottom of greased 13 x 9 pan. Alternate layers of lasagna, cheese filling, and meat sauce. Repeat. Cover top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese.
Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
