Ingredients

  • DOUGH:
  • 2 c flour
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • FILLING;\:
  • 4 egg whites
  • 3 1/2 c yogurt
  • 1 3/4 c sour cream
  • 1 1/4 c sugar
  • 5 heaping T flour
  • zest of one lemon
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dough ingredients -so not overmix
Divide in 1/2
Place 1/2 in freezer
Spread other 1/2 in 8x15 pan
Bake at 338 for 10-15 minutes and cool slightly

Whisk egg whites until still peaks are formed
Mix remaining ingredients and gently fold in egg whites
Pour on dough
Grate remaining dough over filling
Bake for 30 minutes until top is golden. Check for doneness
Cool to room temp and refrig for at least 2 hours
Serve chilled
