Ingredients
- 3 tbls butter or margerine
- 1 c diced onion (about 1 1/2)
- 1 lb hamburg (don't use extra lean)
- 1 1/2 c diced carrots (about 4)
- 1 1/2 c diced celery (about 4)
- 2 c green beans (1 can)
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
- 3 c beef broth (2 cans OK)
- 1 large can Pastene Kitchen Ready tomatoes (chunky is good too)
- 1/2 c soup mac
- 1/2 c rice, orzo or other small mac
- (or 1 cups of all one kind)
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter, saute onions until clear; scramble hamburg with onions.
Pour in beef broth and other vegetables
Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
About 10 minutes before serving, add macaroni
Note: You may need to drain some fat from hamburg
Note: May be frozen
Note: If you double recipe, don't double macaroni
Note: Servie with biscuits
