Step 1
Dissolved year in water. combine shortening, sugar, salt, and hot milk. cool. mix with the egg and yeast. add flour and mix until smooth. cover and let rise in warm place until dough is bulk, about one hour. roll out on lightly floured board to 1.4 inch thickness. cut into 2 inch rounds and place salt, butter sugar cinnamon, butter raisins and nuts. roll up and cut Put in greased pan and let rise til double. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25-30 minutes
