Chocolate chip bars

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup shortening
• 1/3 cup butter - soft
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 tsp soda
• 1 package choc. chips

Preparation

Step 1

heat oven 375 degrees

mix shortening, butter, sugars, egg and vanilla throughly.

Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread in an ungreased pan

bake 20-25 minutes.
