Pizza Minestrone Soup

Ingredients
- 8 ounce sausage
- 8 cups chicken broth (64 ounces)
- 1 - 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
- 1 - 11.5 ounce can tomato juice
- 1 cup pepperoni minis
- 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon
- 1 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 cup ditalini pasta, uncooked

Preparation
Step 1
Cook the sausage in a large stock pot. Drain grease.
Stir every thing else into the sausage. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for 8-9 minutes.
Serve immediately. Top with grated parmesan cheese, if desired.
Yield: 8-10 servings
