1 ounce Simple Syrup (see recipe)
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Ice as needed
Lemon piece for garnish

In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, simple syrup, lemon juice, bitters and ice. Shake, then strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with the lemon piece.
