a smore topped pudding pie
- 1 premade gram-cracker crust
- Or about 10-12 gram crackers, 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2
- tablespoons light brown sugar. Mix all together. You want a sand
- 1 package pudding mix
- 1 bag marshmallows
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
If using a premade pie crust follow package instructions. If using the recipe above, put in an oven on 325 for about 5-15 minutes. Brown to your taste. Remember that this pie will not go back into the oven until ready to melt marshmallows.
While crust is in the oven, follow the package instructions on the pudding mix. let cool slightly and pour into pie crust, and put into fridge for 2 hrs to set completely.
After it has set completely, turn your broiler on on your oven. Chop the marshmallows in half and cover the pie. place in broiler for only a few minutes (keep an eye on it!)
While your pie is in the over, begin to melt your semi-chocolate chips. You may do this in the microwave or stove stop. Which ever is easiest for you.
After you pie has been toasted, pull out of oven and set on a pot holder to cool. Once chocolate has melted drizzle on top.
