No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars 1 Picture


  • 1/2 Cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Peanut butter (creamy)
  • 2 1/2 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • Chocolate chips (12 ounces)

Step 1

Mix butter, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until well blended. More or less powdered sugar can be used to make mixture more or less dry. Layer mixture in a shallow pan. Cool in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Microwave chocolate chips for 60 seconds, stopping every 20 seconds to stir. Adding some shortening can make the chocolate thinner and easier to work with (do not add water to thin).

Spread the chocolate over the peanut butter and smooth with a spatula. Add some peanut butter to the left over chocolate and mix. Using a Ziploc bag, cut a small hole and make a design on the top.

Refrigerate until firm and cut into bars.
