- 3 1/2 cup(s) grape tomatoes or a couple of regular tomatoes in bite size pieces
- 1 medium avocado, diced
- 2 Tbsp basil, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic clove(s), minced
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1/8 tsp table salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 1/2 pound(s) halibut fillet(s), four 6-oz pieces
- 1 spray(s) cooking spray
- 1 medium lime(s), cut in wedges

Step 1
Prepare grill.
Combine tomato and next 7 ingredients in a bowl; set aside. Ideally let mingle for the afternoon
Sprinkle 1⁄2 teaspoon salt and 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper over fish.Maybe marinate with lime juice for 1 hour first. Coat fish with cooking spray.
Place fish on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Arrange fish on serving plates; squeeze lime wedges over fish. Spoon salsa over fish. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 fillet and about 1⁄4 cup salsa).
Note: Fish may be cooked on a preheated grill pan over medium-high heat, if desired.
