Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

So cute! Great for a party or maybe 4th of July. Taste is just ok. could doctor it up with some walnuts and chocolate chips. This is a low-cal recipe.

Ingredients

Box chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
4 oz applesauce
12 ice cream cones (regular)
muffin pan
a few strawberries
whipped cream, cool whip or cake frosting-vanilla/white

Servings 12

Preparation

Step 1

preheat to 350F
Stand up cones in muffin tray
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into cones until 1 inch from the top.
Bake 22 minutes-test
They may spill over but then it just looks like melted ice cream
dollop of frosting or whipped cream on the top.
Slice of strawberry

could add blue sprinkles for 4th of july
