Ingredients

  • 8 slices fresh bread, cubed
  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 2 c grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 1/2 c milk
  • 1 c cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c milk

Preparation

Step 1

Grease 13 1/2 x 9 pan
Place bread in bottom of dish. Top with browned and drained sausage. Sprinkle with cheese. Mix eggs, mustard, 2 1/2 c milk. Pour over bread and sausage. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight. When ready to bake, mix soup with milk(1/2 c) and pour over casserole. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300.
