Ingredients
- 3 cups tomato juice
- 6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped or 2 cans chopped tomatoes (Easier and tastes just as good.)
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2-3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red pepper, onion, celery and/or cucumber
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 clove garlic

Step 1
Combine all ingredients and chill for at least 4 hours before serving. Add croutons, sour cream,
Chopped chives or green onions at serving time.
Note:
This can be made ahead of time and stays well refrigerated for up to 2 weeks
