Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats (Bob's Red Mill large flake)
  • 10 grams oat bran cereal (Bulk Barn)
  • 57 grams slivered almonds
  • 55 grams whole walnuts, roughly broken
  • 85 grams unsalted, roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon honey (I used buckwheat, might be the problem)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine all ingredients in a bowl or large measuring cup. Spread mixture onto a parchment-lined, rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown, stirring every ten minutes. Watch carefully after 20 minutes.

Allow to cool completely before storing in an air-tight container.
