Ingredients
- Topping:
- 3 lbs. apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 T flour
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/4 c water
- 1 T butter
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 salt
- 2 T butter
- 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Grease 9 inch pie plate with butter
In a med bowl combine the filling ingredients and toss to mix
Pour into the pie plate
In a small bowl mix topping ingredients
The dough will be sticky so just place dollops around the apples
Bake for 35-40 minutes until topping is golden brown
Top with vanilla ice cream and enjoy
