  • 1 1/2 C water
  • 1 C milk
  • 8 oz macaroni
  • 1 C Deli american cheese
  • xtra sharp cheddar
  • pinch of cayenne
  • 1/2 t dijon mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Bring liquids to a boil
When you see bubbles add macaroni to pan, bring pan to a simmer, then lower to med low and cook pasta just past al dente, about 6-8 mins. After about 6 mins stir in cayenne & dijon, salt pepper, then stir in american cheese. take pan off heat, add the sharp cheese, stir and put lid on to finish melting.
In a pan, toast 1/3 C panko breadcrumbs with 1 T olive oil until lightly brown, salt pepper, take off heat, 2 T parmigiana. sprinkle crumbs over individual portions of the mac n cheese.
