Ingredients
- 8 ounces cherries, pitted and roughly chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbs vegetable or canola oil

Preparation
Step 1
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease your loaf pan with some butter.
Mix all the ingredients into a smooth batter.
Pour into the loaf pan and bake 55-60 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the thickest part of the loaf comes out clean.
Remove from the oven, run a knife around the sides of the pan to loosen, remove from the pan and cool on a cooling rack.
