Ingredients
- to make self rising flour:
- 2 cups self-rising flour**
- 12 oz. bottled beer
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tea. baking powder
- 1/2 tea. salt
- Yogurt can be added for a traditional sourdough flavor.
- Optional: Chopped green onions or jalapenos

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together flour and sugar, then pour in room temperature beer and stir 25 strokes.
Place in a buttered bread pan and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Cool and wrap in foil overnight.
Bread will have heavy crust.
