Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugars till light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and nuts. Shape dough into rolls and wrap in waxed paper. Pleace in freezer 2 hours. Cut into slices and bake at 350 for 12 - 15 minutes.
