Ingredients
- 4 Cups All purpose flour
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- ½ Cup Butter Softened * Add to flour mixture mix together with a
- pastry blender until mixture resembles cornmeal

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Mix all Above Ingredients in a large bowl
Then Stir in the following ingredients all together:
2 Cups Dark Raisins
1 ⅓ Cups Buttermilk
1 Egg (Scrambled uncooked)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
(mix until well blended)
Place on a floured board and knead for about 3 minutes until dough is
Smooth. Shape into a ball and place in a round high edge Greased (I
use Butter) Baking pan.
(With a sharp knife carve about ½ inch X on top)Bake for approx
1 Hr / 10 mins
(Or until inserted cake tester comes out clear)
