Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups white flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated apple
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 3/4 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk together flour, powder, sugar and salt. Using pastry blender, add cold butter till crumbly. Stir in cheddar, apple and onions. Using fork, stir in milk till mixture is a ragged dough.

Drop by 1/4 cup onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake at 425 for 13-15 minutes.
