Surprise Package Cookies

Ingredients

• Cream together:
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• Then add:
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• Combine in bowl and add to creamed mixture:
• 3 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 65 mint andes candies

Cooking time 32mins

Preparation

Step 1

Cover and refrigerate mixture for 2 hours. Shape a tbsp. of dough around an andes mint. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.

Remove to wire racks to cool.

Melt remaining mint candies in microwave and drizzle over cookies.
