Preparation

Step 1

1 18.25-ounce lemon cake mix - save 2 tablespoons dry mix in a bowl for topping

If you're using a new, smaller 15.25-ounce cake mix, add 6 tablespoons of

cake mix "upsizer" too

Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans.

2 tablespoons lemon cake mix

Mix in a bowl. Sprinkle on top of both loaf pans. Gently press into top of loaf before baking.

I made this today, and it is really good. Thanks for posting the recipe! While I was making this, I was thinking about the different flavors of both cake mix and pudding that I have because of all of the deals over the past month or so. Have you tried this using different combinations of cake mix and pudding?

I really like the recipe too. I have also made it with an orange cake mix (also turned out great) but never any other flavors. Certainly, share your findings if you come up with a good combo :)
