Ingredients
- For the toasted pecans
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- Combine the pecans with the butter. Place on a baking sheet in a 300-degree oven. Turn every 10 minutes, for 30 minutes. Cool the pecans.
- For the candy
- 1 bag caramel candies
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons half/ half cream
- 1 pound semi-sweet chocolate pieces/morsels

Step 1
Combine the caramel, butter and half/half. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and heat an additional 30 seconds until melted. Add pecans.
Spoon the mixture onto a buttered cookie sheet forming small balls. Allow to cool.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth and melted, adding additional seconds as necessary. While the chocolate is hot, dip the balls into the chocolate. Refrigerate for several hours.
