Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 box yellow cake
- 1 package vanilla instant pudding
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup oil

Step 1
Grease tube pan thoroughly.
Mix first three ingredients in small bowl. Cover bottom, sides and tube of pan well with part of the mixture; reserve remaining mixture for layering.
Blend remaining ingredients for batter. Alternate layers of batter with cinnamon mixture in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Turn onto cake rack and cool until just warm. Wrap in foil immediately and allow to stand for two to three days to mellow.
