Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2/3 cup flour
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 cubed potato
- 6 bouillion cube
- 1 tbsp chives
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups milk

Preparation
Step 1
in a 6 quart pot saute celery, onion, garlic in butter
stir in flour, graddually add water
add veggies, bouillion and chives
bring to a boil and simmer covered for 15 minutes
stir in cheese and milk, add salt and pepper
