Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Clove
- 1 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 1 1/2 cups Dark Molasses
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh Ginger, Minced
- 1 Tbsp Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 cups Boiling Water
- 4 Eggs

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl mix together flour and spices and set aside
In a separate bowl whisk together sugar, ginger, oil and molasses and then mix into flour mixture
Mix together the boiling water and baking soda, then mix into flour/molasses mixture
Whisk in eggs and blend until smooth
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick entered in center comes out clean
