Ingredients

  • 1 pkg brown gravy mix
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1 T soy sauce
  • 1/4 teas ground red pepper
  • 1 T oil
  • 1 lb boneless beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 small onion, cut into thin slices
  • 1 medium green or red pepper, cut into thin strips

Step 1

Mix brown gravy mix, water, soy sauce and ground red pepper until will blended. Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high-heat. Add steak and cook 2 minutes or until no longer pink. Stir in gravy mixture, onion and bell pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low 6 to 8 minutes until sauce has thickened, stir occasionally. Serve over rice.
