Ingredients

  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Boil raisins in water until all water is absorbed. Watch closely. Cool for 1/2 hour.

Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla and raisins. Fold i flour mixture. Drop by teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 12 minutes.
