Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup almond/pecan flour (can use one-half cup of each)
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • honey to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Blend butter, honey, and egg.

Separately mix together almond flour, pecan flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Alternately add the yogurt and then the flour mixture to the egg-honey mixture, mixing as you go. Pour into a 9 inch x 9 inch pan.

Top with pecans and cinmamon. Drizzle honey on top. Bake at 350 F (180 C) for approx. 30 min. Enjoy!!

Notes
It's the closest thing to a high calorie pan of brownies that I've been able to come up with so far. We named it Flop because it flops, falls quite flat, after rising high in the oven and sometimes running over. Use at least an 8" square inch pan!
