Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oat flour
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1/2 cup natural flavor whey protein powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon granular Splenda
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon walnut oil
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup buttermilk, as needed

Step 1

Whisk dry ingredients until mixed.

Make a well in the center, and break egg into well. Add oil and about half of the buttermilk. Whisk briskly until well-mixed.

Add additional buttermilk until desired consistency is reached. Fry on a very hot, greased griddle, turning once.

Serves two.
