  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 7 cups rice krispies
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 3 oz. butterscotch chips

Step 1

In a large pan, combine sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Cook until it begins to bubble and sugar is dissolved. Stir while cooking. Measure rice krispies (or special k) into a large bowl. Pour solution over cereal. Stir until cereal is well coated. Pour into lightly buttered 9" x 13" pan. Press with hand into pan - not too firmly. (It helps to lightly grease your hands). Let cool a little. Combine chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a heavy pan or double boiler and heat until chips just melt.

Frost bars.
