Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 minced clove of garlic
- 2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans
- 2 small cans of tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) chopped tomatoes with chilis
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 Tablespoon chili powder (heaping)

Preparation
Step 1
Brown the meat and add the onion and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for several hours.
Sometimes I put in the beans later in the simmering process to prevent them from becoming too mushy.
