  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 T oil
  • sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Stir in sugar, 1 1/4 cups flour, and salt. Beat until smooth. Add egg and oil. Beat in 1 cup flour, beating until smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl. Cover and let rise about 30 minutes.

Stir down batter, then put into 12 greased muffin tins (or 18) filling half way.

Let rise 1 hour.

Brush with slightly beaten egg white, then sprinkle with sesame seeds just before baking.

Bake at 400 for 10 - 15 minutes
