Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. margarine (I also have used butter and/or Crisco baking sticks)
  • 1/2 C. peanut butter
  • 1/2 C. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 3/4 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Granulated sugar
  • 48 chocolate (Hershey's) candy kisses

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream margarine and peanut butter; add sugars and beat thoroughly.

Stir in egg, vanilla and milk; beat well.

Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture.

Shape into balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each. Roll balls in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Press candy kiss in center of each cookie and bake 2-5 minutes longer. Makes 4 dozen. Attractive and delicious!
