  • Prime rib roast, 8-10 lbs (have bones removed & tied on top)
  • Salt & pepper

Step 1

Cook roast in a shallow roaster, uncovered. Season with salt and pepper. Pop in hot oven (450F) and cook 15 minutes. Turn heat down to 250F and cook for 4 hours (no matter how much heavier than the minimum 8-10 hours, it is still 4 hours).
