Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar OR 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup sugar in the raw
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup chopped nuts OR toasted sunflower seeds
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup water
- One (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree (Libby's only-other varieties are too watery)

Step 1
In a small bowl combine dry ingredients except nuts and sugar.
Whisk all wet ingredients and sugar in a large bowl until well combined.
Mix dry and wet ingredients until just combined. Add nuts. Do not over mix.
Pour into two large or eight mini, greased loaf pans and bake at 350°for 55 to 60 minutes for large pans or 30 to 40 minutes for mini pans; or until wooden toothpick comes out clean.
