  • 6

    oz walmuts

  • 2

    garlic cloves

  • 2

    slices white bread (crusts removed)

  • milk (for soaking and to thin out sauce)

  • 3

    Tbsp olive oil

  • salt to taste

  • Pasta: Penne, Tagliatelle and Ravioli are all great with this sauce.

1. Soak the bread in milk. Use just enough milk to wet the bread, but do NOT drench it. 2. Place the bread in a food processor, along with the walnuts and garlic. Puree. 3. Add some salt and the 3 Tablespoons of olive oil to the mixture. Then add a little more milk. Puree again, until you have a creamy consistency. 4.***At this time you can either pour the sauce directly on to the hot pasta OR in a small sauce pan, heat the sauce over low to low/med heat. Do not over-heat or boil the sauce. 5.***Pour the warm sauce over the hot pasta. 6. after adding the sauce, sprinkle some parmesan cheese and toasted walnuts on top of the pasta. Serve immediately.
