stovetop broccoli macaroni and cheese. Add a cubed, cooked chicken breast to up the protein content. DELISH!

Ingredients
- 12 oz whole wheat medium shells
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 8 oz container creme fraiche
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar (or change it up)
- 1/2 tsp each garlic powder and ginger
- pepper TT

Step 1
1. Bring large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add the pasta and cook according to box. Add Broccoli the last 2 minutes of cooking time. Drain and set aside.
3. Meanwhile, in a 2qt sauce pan over medium heat, whisk the creme fraiche and hot sauce until simmering, about 2 minutes.
4. Add the cheese, garlic powder and ginger, then stir over low heat just until melted. Season with pepper.
5. Combine pasta, broccoli and cheese sauce and serve.
tip-try adding cooked sausage, ground beef or bacon or diced chicken.
To cut the fat, substitute low or no-fat Greek style yogurt for the creme fraiche.
