French Toast Sticks

Ingredients
- 1 loaf of white bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- Butter for frying
- Cinnamon sugar;
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut bread into thick one inch slices. Slice into sticks. Leave out for a few hours to dry out. If not loaves will be soggy.
2. Beat the eggs,milk,cinnamon and salt. Quickly dip bread into egg mixture, shake off and fry in butter on all sides. While still hot roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
3. Keep warm in a 200 degree oven until ready to eat.
