  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups white Karo syrup
  • 1 QT Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teas. salt
  • 1 teas. vanilla



Step 1

In Heavy pan put karo syrup and sugar and mix in 1 pint of cream.
Put on stove at med. and don't stir
When it reaches 240 degrees drizzle in 1/2 of cream that is left do not stir
when temp reaches 240 again drizzle rest of cream
do not stir
when temp reaches 240 again take off heat and add salt and van. and stir
pour on to a cookie sheet that has been well buttered.
Leave for 24 hours and then cut and wrap
