Step 1
Get a 1 3/4 to 2 lb flank steak. Combine 1/2 canola oil, 1 tbsp EVOO, 2 minced greet onions, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp dry msutad and 1 tbsp fresh thyme. Marinade steak in this overnight. Grill steak on high for 5 minutes, turn and cook on medium for 4-5 minutes, tent and let rest 10 minutes. Then serve with VINAIGRETTE which combine 1/4 c balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tbsp honey, 1/2 c EVOO, 2 tsp fresh thyme and salt and pepper. WE TRIED THIS ON 10/24/10 AND IT WAS GOOD, THE SAUCE WAS STRONG SO THE BOYS DIDNT LIKE THAT AND THE STEAK WAS A LITTLE TOUGH, BUT OVER ALL IT WAS GOOD.
