Ingredients

  • 1 Recipe Italian Herb Pizza Crust
  • 1 Recipe Basic Tomato Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 20 dill pickle slices
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place prepared pizza dough on a lightly oiled pizza pan sprinkled with some cornmeal; bake for 10 minutes. While crust is baking, cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink; drain and set aside. Remove partially baked crust from oven. Spread sauce over crust and top with beef mixture, bacon, pickles and cheeses and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
