Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 3 - 5 Tbsp eggnog
- 2 1/2 - 3 cups powdered sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
3. Cream butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, eggnog and vanilla, and beat until smooth. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined; do not overmix.
4. Drop by small spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes, until bottoms turn light brown. Remove from oven and allow to rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before removing them to a wire cooling rack. Once cool, smooth on the frosting and sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg.
