Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cubes butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar, blend with butter
- 2 each egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream, blend with butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups flour, more if needed
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation
Step 1
Blend 1st five ingredients. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix lightly until dough does not feel too sticky.. Dough can be refrigerated. Use dough at room temperature. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter shape desired. (Make individual cookies on back of cookie sheet with a little flour sprinkled on it. Put down slightly damp towels to put cookie sheets on while kids are helping to prevent tray from sliding). Bake in 350° F oven for about 10 minutes. Cool cookies before putting on frosting and then decorate.
