Ingredients
- 2 c All Bran
- 3 T dark Karo syrup
- 1 c Sugar
- 2 c Sour Milk (to sour, add 2T of Vinegar)
- 2 c White Flour
- 2 t Baking Soda
- 1 t Salt
- 1/2 c nuts (optional)
- 1/2 c raisins (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all together; allow to set for 15 minutes to soften bran. Preheat oven to 350. Grease cans well, then add to first mixture - (all sifted together) flour, baking soda and salt. Fill cans half full and bake for 1 hour. DO NOT open oven. Add nuts and raisins if desired.
