Marion's Mushroom Spread

Ingredients

• 4 slices bacon
• 8-oz. chopped fresh mushrooms
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 2 Tbsp. flour
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/8 tsp. pepper
• 1 8-oz. cream cheese, cubed
• 2 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
• 1 tsp. soy sauce
• 1/2 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

In skillet cook bacon until crispy, drain, reserving 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside.

Cook mushrooms, onion and garlic in drippings until tender, and most of the liquid has evaporated.

Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add cheese, worshestershire, soy, and heat until cheese has melted. Stir in sour cream and bacon. DO NOT BOIL.

Serve warm
